APEC　蕭萬長會見美國副國務卿布林肯

AIT發布，美國副國務卿安東尼‧布林肯（Antony Blinken）11月16日與台灣代表蕭萬長在馬尼拉亞太經合會（APEC）經濟領袖會議上會面。
在兩人的會談過程中，副國務卿布林肯表達美國對台灣的經濟實力和蓬勃發展之一貫肯定，並且表示美國將繼續支持美國和台灣民間的經濟與商務合作。布林肯強調美國期待與台灣當局解決尚有歧異的貿易議題，特別是農業議題。
布林肯副國務卿肯定為改善兩岸關係所做的努力，包括最近的馬習會議。

Deputy Secretary Antony Blinken Meets with Taiwan Representative Vincent Siew at the APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting
On November 16, Deputy Secretary of State Antony Blinken met with Taiwan representative Vincent Siew at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders’ Meeting in Manila.
During their meeting, Deputy Secretary Blinken expressed continued U.S. support for Taiwan’s economic strength and prosperity and continued economic and commercial cooperation between the people of the United States and the people on Taiwan. Deputy Secretary Blinken noted that the United States looks forward to working with Taiwan authorities to resolve outstanding trade issues, particularly in the agricultural sector.
Deputy Secretary Blinken noted his appreciation for efforts to improve cross-Strait relations, including recent meeting between Presidents Ma and Xi.
