外國駐台代表處參加2017台灣同志大遊行
The 2017 Taiwan Pride Parade, the largest of its kind in Asia and one of the largest in the world, will take place on 28 October 2017. The representative offices of Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom and the European Union will officially participate in the event to celebrate respect, diversity and most of all, Taiwan's open society.
It is the common position of the participating offices that the universality of human rights is ensured to everyone without discrimination regardless of their gender identity or sexual orientation. In recent years, remarkable progress has been made around the world to advance the enjoyment of all human rights by the LGBTI community. Several countries have decriminalised homosexuality and others have enacted new statutes to protect individuals on the basis of their sexual orientation and gender identity. None of these changes could have happened without the dedication of courageous activists working to advance equal rights for LGBTI persons. The Taiwan Pride Parade is therefore an excellent opportunity to raise this awareness.
Taiwan has demonstrated again this year that it is at the forefront in Asia and even the world on LGBTI rights. The participating offices hope that Taiwan will continue to be a leader in promoting respect and tolerance over bigotry and discrimination.
During the parade, some of the participating offices will be distributing rainbow themed giveaways to participants. Fellow marchers are encouraged to seek out the foreign offices group in Team BLACK!

亞洲規模最大也是世界最大之一的2017台灣同志大遊行即將在10月28日 登場。澳洲、奧地利、比利時、加拿大、丹麥、芬蘭、法國、荷蘭、西班牙、瑞典、英國及歐洲聯盟的駐台代表處都將為了慶祝台灣的開放社會、尊重與多元正式參加遊行。
所有參加遊行的代表處共同認為，所有人無論他們的性別認同或性向，都應不受歧視的得到普世人權的保障。在近年來，世界上對同志人權的保障有顯著的進步，幾個國家針對同性戀除罪化，也有國家就性別認同與性向立法保障人權，這些進步若沒有勇敢的運動者為同志權益奮鬥是不會發生的，這也是為什麼台灣同志大遊行提供最好的機會來提升社會對此議題的認識。
台灣今年再度展現為亞洲甚至世界的同志權益先驅者，參加遊行的代表處都希望台灣能持續做為推廣尊重與包容而非偏執與歧視的領導者。
在遊行中有些代表處也會分發彩虹主題的小禮物，歡迎大家一起與在黑色大隊的外國代表處聯合團一起遊行。
